Maciej Tubis is a Polish jazz pianist and jazz piano teacher at the Academy of Music in Łódź. He started playing piano at an early age and at the age of fourteen he had already given a concert with the orchestra of the Stanislaw Moniuszko Musical Schools Complex in Łódź.

Maciej Tubis has given concerts in numerous jazz clubs all over Poland and recitals on radio stations. In 2004, he formed Tubis Trio, with bassist Marcin Lamch and drummer Przemek Pacan.  Tubis Trio was well-received by popular magazines such as the British, Jazzwise, the New York Village Voice, and the biggest American jazz website, AllAboutJazz.com.

In 2008 Tubis received the Mayor of the city Łódź Award for the best jazzman of Łodź.
